Cash Transfers allow funds to be transferred between bank accounts within a budget.
Cash Transfers are managed from the bank account section of the Budget Grid.
Understanding Cash Transfers
For each bank account in the Budget Grid, you will see two Cash Transfer rows:
Cash Transfers In which shows funds being transferred into a bank account.
Cash Transfers Out which shows funds being transferred out of a bank account.
Create a Cash Transfer Out
To create a cash transfer:
Go to the Cash Transfers Out row for the bank account you want to transfer funds from.
Select the month you would like to create the transfer in.
Enter the Transfer Details
In the Cash Transfers Out modal:
Enter the transfer amount.
Select the bank account you want to transfer the funds to.
If you have more than one other bank account available, you will be able to choose from the list of available bank accounts.
Add a note for reference, if required.
Once the details have been entered, select Save.
Then select Create Transfer.
The transfer will be added to the list within the modal.
Add Multiple Transfers
You can create more than one transfer for the same bank account and month.
To add another transfer:
Enter the transfer details.
Add a note, if required.
Select Create Transfer.
Each transfer will appear in the list within the Cash Transfers Out modal.
- Once all Cash Transfers for the month have been entered, select Save.
Edit a Cash Transfer Out
If you need to update a transfer before saving the modal:
Select Edit beside the transfer.
Update the transfer amount, if required.
Add or update the note, if required.
Select Save.
When you have finished adding or editing transfers, select Save to apply the changes to the budget.
Please note that if you select Cancel before saving the modal, any unsaved transfers or changes will be lost.
View Cash Transfers In
Once saved, the transfer will appear in two places:
As a Cash Transfer Out for the bank account the funds are being transferred from
As a Cash Transfer In for the bank account receiving the funds
To view the incoming transfer, open the Cash Transfers In modal for the receiving bank account.
The Cash Transfers In modal is read-only.
You can view the transfer details and any notes attached to the transfer, but you cannot make changes directly from this modal.
Edit a Transfer from Cash Transfers In
If you need to edit a transfer shown in the Cash Transfers In modal:
Select the View Source icon.
This opens the related Cash Transfers Out modal, where the transfer was originally created.
Update the transfer amount or note as required.
Select Save.
The update will then be reflected in the Cash Transfers In modal.
Please Note: Throughout Agrimaster 10 we use standard budget grid indicators to highlight if a cell has multiple budget entries.
You will notice in the Cash Transfer In and Cash Transfer Out cells a blue triangle indicator will appear if a cell contains multiple cash transfers and a orange circle indicator appears if at least one transfer contains a note.
Both indicators can be displayed on any cell where applicable and makes it easier to identify additional cash transfer information in the budget grid.
