The Direct Entry Drawer allows you to add, edit, and manage multiple line items within a single budget cell in Agrimaster 10. This is useful when you want to allocate values to different bank accounts or add notes for additional context.
1. Select a Budget Cell
Open your budget.
Select a cell in your budget.
When a cell for a code is selected, you’ll see a minimised version of the Direct Entry Drawer appear.
2. Make a Quick Cell Entry
You can make a quick cell entry to a code by typing a value directly into the cell to add an amount.
When you do this, Agrimaster automatically creates a line item for that cell against the code.
3. Open the Direct Entry Drawer
To view more details and add more line items, click Expand.
This opens the full Direct Entry Drawer.
Here you’ll see the line item that was automatically created from the value you entered in the cell for the chosen code.
4. Change the Bank Account (Optional)
By default, the value is allocated to the Primary Bank Account for that budget.
If needed, you can select a different Bank Account.
Click Save in the bottom-right corner to apply any changes.
5. Add Additional Line Items
You can also add additional line items.
Select Add Entry
Choose the Bank Account, and enter the amount.
6. Add Notes to Line Items
If needed, you can add a note to any line item for additional context.
7. Edit or Delete Line Items
Existing line items can be edited or deleted at any time.
If you remove a line item, the total value for the cell will automatically update.
8. Remember to click Save to apply any changes.
9. View the Total in the Budget Cell
When multiple line items are added, Agrimaster will automatically total them together.
The combined value will appear in the budget cell.
10. Cell Indicators
Agrimaster displays visual indicators in the top-right corner of the budget cell to show when additional information exists in a cell.
Triangle: Indicates the cell contains line items or has been edited.
Circle: Shows that a note has been added to a line item.
