Budget Grid | Agrimaster 10

The Budget Grid in Agrimaster 10 provides a complete overview of your budget, including account balances, cashflow activity, GST tracking, budget structure and more.

1. (Budget) Quick View Toolbar

At the top of the screen is the (Budget) Quick View Toolbar.

2. Total Of Balances

This row displays:

  • Total debits and credits across all bank accounts

  • Monthly totals across the full budget timeline

These totals update automatically as values are entered into the budget.

3. Accounts

Below the totals is the Bank Accounts section, referred to as Accounts in the Budget Grid.

At the top of this section, you can see the period currently being viewed.

  • If you are viewing the entire budget, it will display Full Budget

  • If a specific period has been selected using the toolbar, only that section will display

Primary Account

The first account shown is your selected Primary Account.

For this account, you can see:

  • Running Balance

  • The Opening Balance

  • Cashflow Activity

The running balance displayed is inclusive of GST.

Additional Accounts

If your budget includes multiple bank accounts, you can expand the collapsed Additional Accounts view to display them.

When expanded, you will see:

  • Account name

  • Account number and BSB

  • Running balance

  • Cashflow Activity

Each account is displayed separately, allowing you to review balances and activity individually.

4. Budget

Below the Accounts Grid is the Budget section.

By default, this section may appear collapsed.

The budget is structured in three levels.

Major Headings

At the highest level are the four Major headings:

  • Receipts

  • GST-In

  • Payments

  • GST-Out

Values cannot be entered directly into Major Headings.

Group Headings

Expanding a Major Heading displays the Group Headings underneath.

Group Headings organise related budget codes.

Values cannot be entered directly into Group Headings.

Budget Codes

Expanding further displays the individual Budget Codes.

Values can only be entered at the Budget Code level.

5. Entering a Simple Cell Input

To enter an amount:

  1. Click into a cell under a Budget Code

  2. Enter the value

As you enter values:

  • Totals automatically update at the Group Heading level

  • Totals update at the Major Heading level

  • Code totals update

Agrimaster 10 automatically calculates and rolls up totals as you work.

6. Expanding and Collapsing the Budget

You can manually expand or collapse Major Headings and Group Headings.

You can also use the Budget View Toolbar to adjust the level of detail displayed:

  • Major Heading view collapses the entire budget

  • Group Heading view shows Group Headings only

  • Budget Code view fully expands all codes

This allows you to control how much detail is visible at any time.

7. Cashflow Summary

Below the Budget Section is the Cashflow Summary.

This section displays:

  • Total Cashflow across the budget, both inclusive and exclusive of GST

  • Total Cashflow In

  • Total Cashflow Out

8. Tax Summary

At the bottom of the grid is the Tax Summary.

This section displays:

  • GST Owed or Payable

  • The Opening Balance

  • GST Return Owed or Payable

The previous GST amount is a carryover from your prior BAS period and can be configured.
