2. View Cashflow Including GST

The Cashflow Including GST section provides a summary of cashflow activity, including the impact of GST.

When expanded, the section displays:

  • Cashflow IN

  • Cashflow OUT

Because this view includes GST, any forecast GST remittances and GST refunds are included in the totals.

This provides a complete view of projected cash moving in and out of the business.

3. View Cashflow Excluding GST

The Cashflow Excluding GST section allows you to analyse cashflow without the impact of GST.

To view the detailed breakdown:

  1. Select the expand arrow beside Cashflow Excluding GST.

When expanded, the section displays:

  • Cashflow IN

  • Cashflow OUT

Unlike the GST-inclusive view, GST remittances and GST refunds are not included in these totals.

This allows you to focus on the underlying cashflow performance of the business.

4. Understanding Cashflow Totals and Opening Balance

The Cashflow Summary does not include the Opening Balance in its calculations.

If you need to view the Opening Balance of a budget, refer to the Total of Balances section at the top of the Budget Grid.
