Types of Crop Worksheets

The first time you setup a new (blank) budget, select the worksheet group that best fits your business. Enter data into the main Production Worksheet to set up the dependent worksheets. Agrimaster will copy the main data from your Production sheet into the remaining sheets during the setup process.

You only need to do the setup for a worksheet group once. After you have entered data into your first year’s worksheet group, you can copy the worksheets and reuse the data for each following year. Copying a Worksheet group ensures continuity from year to year and helps you compare changes in your business over the years.

The optional Grain Income Calculator (GIC) for grain loans is not covered in this section. Agrimaster will generate Grain Income Worksheet and Income Cash Flow Worksheets during the setup process. Use the Grain Income Calculator section to setup these worksheets after this setup.

Before setting up a new worksheet group, identify one of the following methods as a best-fit for your business.

1.    All Sales: $/Ha Costs (GIC)

·         Track crop inputs on a dollar per hectare basis

·         No need to itemize each input

·         Optional, can be used with the Grain Income Calculator (GIC) for gain loans

2.    All Sales: Mult (GIC)

·         Track multiple inputs per crop type

·         Optional, can be used with the Grain Income Calculator (GIC) for grain loans

3.    Paddock All Sales: Mult (GIC)

·         Track multiple inputs per paddock

·         Optional, can be used with the Grain Income Calculator (GIC) for grain loans

All Sales: $/Ha Costs (GIC)

The All Sales Dollars per Hectare Worksheets do not require you to itemise Seed, Fertiliser, Chemicals and Operations.

Instead, plan your budget around your crops and 4 timed activities during your growing season. Use summaries of your seed, fertiliser, chemical and other cropping costs.

All Sales: Mult (GIC)

The All Sales Multiple Inputs starts your budgeting around the types of crops you plan to grow. The worksheets track detail for your income from grain pool sales and non pool sales (private sales). You will also be able to detail the types of costs for seed, fertiliser, chemicals and operations.

Paddock All Sales: Mult (GIC)

The Paddock All Sales Multiple Inputs gives you the same level of detail as the All Sales worksheets, but you start with the paddock instead of the crop.
