How to Set Your Current Budget to the Cashbook

This article explains how to set your Current Budget to the cashbook in order to run a Budget to Cashbook Comparison Report.

Each time a budget is updated, if you wish to see these changes in the Budget Comparison Report, a new current budget will need to be saved. You can either save a new current budget with a new name or delete an existing current budget and save it as its name.

How To Get To The Current Budget Setup Screen

  1. Open Agrimaster.
  2. Click on Budget.                                                                                  mceclip1.png
  3. Select either Quick Budget or Full Budget.mceclip0.png
  4. Open the budget that you wish to see in the Budget Comparison Report.
  5. On the top of the Budget screen, click Current Budget.

  6. The Current Budgets screen should now appear. mceclip2.png

How To Save A New Current Budget

Save the budget with a name that is not listed in the Existing Current Budget list. This can be done by:

  1. In the field Name, enter the name you wish to save the budget as. 
  2. Next, identify the new current budgets first month, by selecting a month and year from the First Month drop-down field.
  3. Then click Save Current Budget.
    • If a message appears, saying the Name Full budget XXXX already in use! your current budget has not saved as there is already a current budget with this name. You will either need to delete the budget that exists with this name or make the name of your current budget unique.mceclip2.png
  4. Click the black cross to close the screen. 

How To Delete A Current budget

You may need to delete a current budget if the name you wish to save your current budget as is already been used. To delete a current budget,

  1. Select the budget name from the Existing Current Budgets, it will be highlighted once selected.
  2. Next, the Delete highlighted current budget button should now appear. Press this button to delete the current budget. 
  3. Now the budget has been deleted following the steps on how to save a new current budget.
