Due to Microsoft and ATO security updates, Wagemaster software must be operating on a minimum of Windows 10.
In early 2020 Microsoft ceased support on anything less than Windows 10. In addition to this, the ATO has implemented security updates and if you are submitting STP, the ATO requires you to be running a minimum of Windows 10.
What This Means for You
Wagemaster software must operate on a minimum of Windows 10. Customer Support will not be available for users running older versions of Windows.
Recommended Configuration
Performance is related to your computer’s hardware specifications and networking capabilities for databases hosted on a server. Wagemaster should comfortably run on any machine made in the last 5 years with hardware configuration required as minimum mentioned below:
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent / Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor for optimum performance.
- 4 GB RAM for Windows, 8 GB RAM or higher for optimum performance.
- 2 GB+ Hard Disk available space.
- Fast network card (if the database is shared over the network in a client-server environment).
Windows Configuration
- Display settings should be set to 100% (96dpi) for the best visual experience in Wagemaster.
- Full read/write permissions required for all Wagemaster users to the folder Wagemaster database has been stored to if in a client-server environment.
- Please ensure Microsoft Excel is installed if installing EBA as part of the installation.
