Not A Valid Password Error Message

This article is for users experiencing 'Not a valid password' error message. 

The points below are the reasons as to why this error can occur: 

  1. When attempting to open a newer version of a Wagemaster database (i.e. a current release database) using a very old version of the application/installation.
  2. The person attempting to open Wagemaster does not have sufficient read/write access to the location that the Wagemaster company file is saved.
  3. Upon attempting to upgrade a version of the database that is prior to Version 5 release.
