Review Bank Accounts | Migrating from Agrimaster 6.5 to Agrimaster 10

Before migrating from Agrimaster 6.5 to Agrimaster 10, you need to review your Bank Accounts, ensure they are in the correct order and close any accounts that are no longer active.

This is required to successfully import your Agrimaster 6.5 Quick Budgets and actuals data into Agrimaster 10.

There is no need to import Bank Accounts into Agrimaster 10 that are closed or no longer active. We recommend reviewing and updating these accounts in Agrimaster 6.5 before migrating as best practice.

1. Access your Bank Accounts in Agrimaster 6.5

1. From the Home Page, click Setup and Tools.
2. Click Cashbook Setup.
3. Click Bank Accounts.
4. You will be in Editing mode by default. You can confirm this by checking that Editing is highlighted in blue on the right-hand side of the screen.

2. Review the order of your Bank Accounts

The Bank Accounts you use most often should appear at the top of your account list.

For most farm businesses, the recommended order is:

1. Farm Cheque Account
2. Credit cards
3. Deposit accounts
4. Loan accounts

To rearrange the order of your Bank Accounts:

1. Make sure you are in Editing mode.
   
2. Click on the Bank Account you would like to move up or down in your account list.
3. At the bottom left of the screen, you will see two icons:
   • Move Up
   • Move Down
4. Click the applicable icon to move the Bank Account up or down until it is in the correct position.
   

Once you have reorganised your Bank Accounts into the correct order, you can move on to closing any Bank Accounts that are no longer required in your Cashbook or Budgets.

3. Close Bank Accounts that are no longer active

To close a Bank Account:

1. Make sure you are in Editing mode.
2. Highlight the Bank Account that is closed or no longer used.
3. On the right-hand side of the screen, locate the Closed On field.
4. Enter the date the account was closed. For example: 30 June 2026.
   
5. Click the green tick or press F10 to save.
6. Progress to the next Bank Account you would like to close and repeat these steps.

Once you have reviewed the order of your Bank Accounts and closed any accounts that are no longer active, this step of preparing your Agrimaster 6.5 file for migration is complete.
