What Is Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) & How Does It Affect Me?

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a type of authentication that requires more than a user name and password combination to log in to your bank account. It means multiple forms of authentication are required. This could be in the form of a code sent to your mobile, entering a code from a dongle supplied by the bank, or a code generated by an app on your phone.

Whilst we are still developing our Bank Feeds feature, customers who require MFA to log into their online banking will have a different experience.

This means customers with MFA will have to enter their credentials each time they want to refresh their Bank Feeds.
