What's New In Wagemaster

This release contains the following changes:

  • From 1 July 2022, the $450 (or $350 in some Awards) per month threshold for superannuation guarantee was removed.  Employers now need to pay superannuation for employees who are under 18 years of age and working more than 30 hours in a week, regardless of how much they are paid per month.

With this change, options to setup superannuation parameters for Minimum Eligible Age and Minimum Weekly Hours for Minimum Age have been added to Wagemaster. The addition of these parameters means the system will correctly calculate employee’s superannuation guarantee for employees under 18 years who work more than 30 hours in a week and will not calculate superannuation when these parameters are not met.
