Adding A New Leave Type In Wagemaster

This article is for users wanting to create a leave type if the employee record is missing a certain leave type or want to add in a special leave for an employee.

Locate The Award Linked To The Employee

  1. Navigate to Employee.

  2. Click on Employment and Employment again.
  3. Identify the Award linked to the employee.mceclip5.png

Edit The Award

  1. Navigate to Awards.

  2. Click on the relevant Award.
  3. Click Edit.

Add Leave Type

  1. Click Leave.
  2. Click Add/Delete Leave.mceclip6.png
  3. Leave Type Wizard will appear.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Add new leave type.
  6. Click Next.

  7. At the Leave Type Wizard: Enter Details of the New Leave Type screen, fill in:
    • Leave Type: Name of leave.
    • Description: Generic description for leave.
    • Short Description: Fill if required.
    • GL Code: Not Applicable.
    • Click Show Leave Total.
    • Click Show Leave Entitlement.mceclip8.png
  8. Click Next and Next again. 
  9. Click Finish.
