  • Loadings |Shift Mon-Thurs (rate increase and hours reduced where applicable)

The changes are detailed below with screenshots if you decide to manually update the conditions rather than apply our PDL update. Please note, the changes come into effect from 1/10/2019 so it is important not to update until after completing the final pay in September 2019. For those using the PDL update, the effective date of 1/10/2019 is automated.

When completing the update (see screenshot above), you only need to tick to 'Download These Items - Awards'. By updating the Awards, you will be loading that part of the Modern Award in full. Any manual changes to descriptions, amounts and conditions that you have made to the affected Casual Awards will be overwritten and replaced with Sage WageEasy’s standard Casual Modern Award setup as per our interpretation of the Award obtained from Fair Work.

It is IMPERATIVE that for this update to take full effect from 1 October 2019 that you close and reopen Sage WageEasy after loading the PDL file and that upon reopening, ensure the PPE date is at a date in October 2019 before checking the changes.

The following screenshots are provided which highlight the changes made to Casual Awards (except Casual Shiftworkers) within the General Retail Industry Award 2010 PDL file. If you are paying employees under any State transitional arrangements, or if you have made manual changes to the Awards, you should NOT download the Awards, but make manual changes where applicable. The below award configurations include transitional reductions to Sunday loadings and Public Holiday loadings in
applicable award configurations.
