Edit or Delete a Transaction

These instructions will be helpful if you need to remove or change a transaction you have already created. 

Please note that you cannot “undo” a transaction: you will need to either delete it or edit it.

The same procedure applies to cash transfers, EFTs etc but through the respective input windows.

Note: This procedure applies to entries that are in the current open period of your Cash book. Once a month has been closed, you would need to use Repair Past to complete these steps.

How to Delete a Transaction

  1. On the Home page, click Cash Book 
  2. Click Transactions 
  3. Select (highlight) the transaction you wish to delete
  4. Click the Delete icon  or you can use the F7 key on your keyboard
  5. Click Yes to confirm the action 

How to Edit a Transaction

  1. On the Home page, click Cash Book 
  2. Click Transactions 
  3. Select (highlight) the transaction you wish to edit 
  4. Click the Edit icon  or you can use the F5 key on your keyboard
  5. The Edit Cashbook Transaction window will open 
    • Make the changes you require
    • Click the green tick  or use the F10 key on your keyboard
