Error: MoveApplicationFile:70 - Permission denied

When loading Agrimaster, the following error message is displayed:

Your Agrimaster data files are about to be moved to a location compatible with Windows Vista onwards (eg. Windows 7).
It is advisable that you backup the Agrimaster folders before you continue.

Click 'OK' to move files automatically.

Click 'Cancel' to exit so you can backup these folders manually.

If you have previously chosen 'OK' and you get this message again, there are still some files that could not be moved automatically.

The following error occurred in MoveApplicationFile: 70 - Permission denied

Please contact Agrimaster Support on 1300 786 516 if you are unsure what the error refers to.

To fix this issue, run the program as Administrator. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Run as Administrator from the Agrimaster icon, and
  2. Run as Administrator from the program folder

Run as Administrator from the Agrimaster icon

  1. Close Agrimaster
  2. Right-click the Agrimaster icon > select Run as administrator
  3. Follow the prompts to continue

Run as Administrator from the program folder

  1. Close Agrimaster
  2. Navigate to the Agrimaster program folder. E.g.
    • C:\Program Files(x86)\Agrimaster or
    • C:\Program Files\Agrimaster 
  3. Right-click the program icon (the AGW.exe file), then select Properties  
  4. On the Compatibility tab, select the Run this program as an administrator option. If you see a User Account Control prompt, accept it. The program can be run using the Agrimaster 6 desktop shortcut, as usual.

If this does not resolve the issue, follow the next set of steps to roll back to the previous version (6.3.47):

  1. Close Agrimaster
  2. Click the yellow folder on the bottom left corner of your screen 
  3. Select This PC (or My Computer) on the left panel
  4. Double-click Local Disk (C:) > Users > Public > Agrimaster > Updates
  5. Right-click Setup6.3.50 and select Delete
  6. Repeat the same for Setup6.3.50.tmp
  7. Double-click Setup6.3.49 to roll back to this version
