When an employee’s tax status changes, their tax information will need to be changed.
The example shown below is for changing from the Backpacker Tax Table to the Working Holiday Tax Table but the steps are the same to switch between any two tax tables.
To change the tax table:
- Click Employee > Edit Employee
- In the Name field, select the employee from the dropdown list
- Click Payments
- Click Tax
- From the Tax Table dropdown list, select the required Tax Table
In this example, we have changed from a Custom Tax Table for Backpacker Tax to the Working Holiday Maker Tax Table
- If changes need to be made for other employees, repeat from Step 2. Otherwise, click Close to finish
